Custom Labels in India

A label is the printed, self-adhesive face of your product — the piece that carries the brand, the artwork, and, for regulated goods, the mandatory information. Custom labels in India are printed either on rolls, for automatic or high-speed hand application, or on sheets for small runs, across a wide choice of paper and film stocks and adhesives tuned to the surface you are sticking to.

Paper stocks suit dry goods and a natural or premium look; film stocks like BOPP and PP give water-, oil-, and tear-resistance for bottles, jars, and cold-chain products. Finishes range from matte and gloss lamination to spot UV, foil, and textured varnishes, and labels can be die-cut to almost any shape. Digital printing keeps minimums low and variable data — batch codes, QR codes, variants — easy, while flexo is economical for long roll runs.

For food, cosmetics, and other regulated categories, your label artwork must carry the required FSSAI or legal-metrology information. On Pakshara you upload your artwork or dieline, set the stock and finish, and get a reference price plus bids from verified label presses.

Should I order labels on a roll or on sheets?
Rolls suit machine application and larger runs and keep application fast; sheets suit hand application and small quantities. If you apply labels with a dispenser or an automatic applicator, specify the roll direction and core size — presses will confirm what your line needs.
What label material is waterproof or works on bottles?
Film stocks such as BOPP and PP resist water, oil, and tearing, which makes them the default for bottles, jars, cosmetics, and anything that sees moisture or refrigeration. Paper stocks suit dry goods and a more natural look. The right adhesive also depends on the surface and temperature.
Can labels be die-cut to a custom shape?
Yes. Labels can be die-cut to almost any outline, from simple rounded rectangles to intricate brand shapes. Supply a print-ready file with a dieline, or place your artwork on a shape in the builder, and the press cuts to match.
Do my labels need FSSAI or legal information?
For food, cosmetics, and other regulated products, the label must carry the legally required details — for packaged food that includes the FSSAI licence number and the standard declarations. This information is the brand owner's responsibility and belongs on your artwork before printing.
